" Once an Addict always an addict "

The title of my blog this time is very much applicable to me. But I just want to make it clear that the word "addict" here refers only to my addiction with online games and nothing else.

It was mid November of last year when I decided to quit on playing RF Philippines Online game. During that time I thought that quitting is just as simple as how simple the word is being spelled out, but I have proved myself wrong… It's rather hard than easy, especially that I consider Rf as my favorite past time and I can say that it's already part of my system and my routine.

Again, it was mid November last year when I decided to quit on playing RF Online game. I am positive at that point that I'll be able to get rid of my addiction. I even flew here in Cebu City and get myself a work just to completely forget all about RF ( by the way, I am originally from Zamboanga City and one of the most active online game player of the City ). But the more I try to forget, the more the game is haunting me and the more I am motivated to play the game again.

One day I just found myself walking along the street of Cebu City looking for a nearby internet cafe. And later then I am infront of a computer monitor playing RF online game again…

Ang Paghingi ng Kapatawaran

     Minsan ko lamang po kong gawin ito kaya sana ay pagbigyan nyo na ako. Magtatagalog po ako sa puntong ito para naman po mas lalong maintindihan ng lahat, lalong lalo na po sa mga taong nagawan ko ng kasalanan.

    Sa tinagal tagal ko narin sa mundo ng RF, masasabi kong napakarami ko naring nagawang mga kasalanan… sa aking sarili, sa aking kapwa manlalaro, sa aking mga kalahi at lalong lalo na po kay Decem. Nais ko lamang pong ipabatid sa inyo, na kahit papaano ay pinagsisisihan ko rin ang mga nagawa kong kasalanan. Pasensya na po.. kasi tao lang.

    Sa madamdaming blog na ito, idaraan ko nalang po sa panalangin ang paghingi ko ng kapatawaran. Sa mga mambabasa at sa lahat ng pwedeng maapektuhan, nasa sa inyo na po ang paghuhukom.

    Narito po ang aking paghingi ng kapatawaran:

    Decem patawad po sa aking mga naging pagkakasala. Naging madamot po ako minsan sa isang baguhang Corite na humingi sa akin ng "Velocity", hindi ko po siya napagbigyan. Hindi ko rin po nabigyan ng desina ang isa kong ka guild na humihingi sa akin ng tulong para mabili nya ang "intense bluewand" na nakalagay sa UTS. Inihihingi ko rin po ng kapatawaran ang hindi lang minsan kundi ilang beses ko na pong pagloloot ng mga loots na hindi naman dapat sa akin. Pati narin po ang pagiging KS ko kay "Roser" noong isang linggo dahilan para sya ay magalit sa akin. Kasalanan ko rin po kaya natalo ang Corites sa "ChipWar" kahapon ng tanghali dahil po imbes na sumali ako sa CW, mas inuna ko pa pong magpaPT sa "Assasin Builder". Noong minsan pong magkagulo sa sette, may humingi po sa akin ng tulong para mag"repel", pero imbes na tumulong naging pasaway po ako. Naging "Bug User" din po ako, nakakapagod kasing maglakad ng malayo at saka mas safe sa bug huwag ka lang pahuhuli. Minsan din po ay nasisi ko ang isang archon kung bakit natalo kami sa CW, pero sa totoo lang naman po kasalanan ko rin kasi hindi ako sumusunod sa kanilang mga sinasabi.

    Decem, patawad po sa lahat lahat ng aking mga nagawang pagkakamali. Ginagawa ko po ang lahat ng aking makakaya para hindi ko na po maulit pa ang mga pagkakamaling nagawa ko. Mabait naman po ako. Tinotoyo lang po kung minsan kaya ganun. Pinagsisisihan ko na po ang lahat. Patawad…

Work Vs RF…

    Guys, I am again late with my work last night! Again?! Again!!! Quite upset that despite of my determination to go to work on time still I am late… needless to say that the primary reason again is none other than my favorite online game - RF! But it's ok, atleast my supervisor was then very considerate enough to have accepted my "palusot".. maybe it's because she already have forgotten the memo she had given me last time, haha. Honestly speaking, I was given a memo 3 weeks ago for my tardiness - for always being late, that's why I am very careful not to be late again. But then again, I am only human. And who can't be late anyway with all these temptations that RF's offering me? Examples are x3 PT and x3 Drops.. What more if it's x3 Exp, Gosh I rather be absent and compile memos! Hahaha!

    Anyway, good thing is I'm trying my best to resist temptations. But last night I believe is really an exception. I know I am already late but still I never mind. Who cares anyway, I am with my crush playing RF and that's it! I can rarely have my happy and kilig moments, so why stop me? LOL! Really, I am with my crush last night, and that explains everything. 

    Well for now, I am hoping not to be late again. I am determined anyway! So please help me Decem… oh I mean Lord. Hehe.

Thankful!

 It also took months before I was able to brush off that feeling of bitterness out of my system (I’d rather not elaborate on why this is the case). I was wallowing in apathy and the novelty that I felt during the first few months of taking/making calls has just vanished into the depths of oblivion. I was pessimistic all the way and that pessimism just transformed into regret knowing that I could have performed better but chose not to. I was a constant whiner and I just thank high heavens that the supervisor who had me as their agent was just so patient with me.

But everything’s okay now. I’m back on track and that zest to perform well during my shifts has resided back in me. I’m more patient in dealing with every calls. I try not to lose my cool that easily and I actually have to say that I’m very happy with the way things are. I’m currently working on something and I’m really crossing my fingers that I’d earn the fruits of my labor by the end of this month.

There are a lot of people who have managed to inspire me and of course there are also those who managed to destroy me, and I am just so grateful because they just help me to be better. Co-workers who just do their work and never complain, co-workers who managed to be on top for being so diligent, and supervisors who were so understanding and supportive are just some of those who have taught me to be positive about things instead of incessantly ranting and complaining.

For everything that has happened which has prompted me to also “redeem” myself from the clutches of sheer apathy, I’m so thankful!
